Registration

Registration for all students will take place in Room 103 at Alexander Hamilton High School.

Parents/Guardians should bring to the registration:

• At least two (2) proofs of residency to be verified by the district office that the address is within the boundaries of the school district.
• Birth certificate, baptismal certificate, or passport.
• Record of immunizations.
• Certificate of completed physical examinations.
• Any school records.
• Student's Social Security number.

• Please bring original documents (Copies will be made at the school office).
• Some documents will need to be notarized.
• If necessary, additional registration materials may be required.

Pre-Kindergarten & Kindergarten Eligibility

The Elmsford Public School District provides both a Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten Program for the district's eligible children. Children 4 years old on or before December 1st are eligible to attend Pre-K in September. Children 5 years old on or before December 31 are eligible to attend Kindergarten in September. Requirements for registration are evidence of child's birth date and proof of immunization against measles, German measles (rubella), polio, mumps, hepatitis B, and diphtheria as well as proof of residence (see above - Student Entry).

Notary Services are offered on site free of charge for those documents requiring notarization. Please note that some documents cannot be notarized on-site.

Pre-K Notes

There are forty (40) slots available for the Elmsford School District's Pre-K program. Twenty (20) "AM" Slots Twenty (20) "PM" Slots Registration is taken on a first come, first served basis and is considered complete when ALL materials are received and deemed complete by the District. Please Note: A waiting list will compiled once the forty (40) slots are filled. If slots open, they will be filled in the order they are received based on the waiting list.
